average stay with some hiccups

polite staffwarm roommalfunctioning remote
The staff were polite enough. Nothing to write home about.
The room was too warm, and i couldn't adjust the temperature. this made sleeping rather difficult, i must say. It felt stuffy the entire night. also, the tv was tiny, and the remote didn't work properly. i had to switch it on and off at the wall.

i had booked a king-size bed but it turned out to have a double mattress. this was not what i paid extra for. there was also a boxing night at the hotel. the hotel allowed the crowd to gather at the front door smoking. this behavior and the loud singing created an uncomfortable atmosphere.

The room was acceptably clean.
The lack of operational air conditioning was a significant issue. The temperature in the room was uncomfortably warm and the provided fan offered minimal relief. the noise level from external sources made restful sleep difficult.
